Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 23: The Pre-Primary Wing of Jodhamal Public School celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school skating rink today. The dignitaries present on this exciting event were KarandeepKour, mother of Simrandeep Singh, District Development Commissioner Jammu as the Chief Guest, Nandan Kuthiala and Arati Kuthiala, Trustees of the School, Trilok Singh Bist, Principal and Monika Sethi, Vice Principal of the School. Nandani Bakshi, Sr Coordinator (CCA) and Neetu Johri, Coordinator Pre-Primary Wing declared the games open by presenting dignitaries with tri-colour balloons, to be released in the air. The day witnessed various events with an innovative theme right from play group to UKG like Penguine Race, Santa and Fairy, Rabbit and Carrot, Flag Race, Cartoon Character Race, Banana Race, Balloon Bursting, Pack the Bag and Skating (Musical Chair). The little kids were seen in an exciting mood and team spirit. It was a day to show their strength, speed and sportsmanship, so the students participated in all track and field events with full vigour. The Chief Guest Karandeep Kour said that sports are the only way to live freely and more interestingly. Through this activity, the students learn the importance of staying healthy, being focused and setting goals in whatever they do. The day concluded with famous annual event of school teachers race wherein all the Pre-Primary teachers took part so as to demonstrate the values of sports and games. Trilok Singh Bist, Principal of Jodhamal School appreciated the hard work put in by all the Pre-Primary Teachers to make this event a great success and congratulated Nandani Bakshi, Sr Coordinator (CCA) and Neetu Johri, Coordinator (Pre-Primary Wing) for working tirelessly to organize this mega event and giving a perfect guidance to the teachers and students. |
