Jammu, Dec 23: Sant Mela Singh College of Education, Digiana organized "Display your Talent" programme. The programme started with lighting of Traditional lamp followed by recitation of Ganesh Vandana by the students.
Colourful cultural items including Dogri poetry, Rajasthani Folk Dance, Dogri play, Punjabi Bhangra and Punjabi Folk Dance, Giddha, Solo dance, Hindi poetry and Solo Songs were presented by the students of the College.
Chairman of the College, Prof. Anmol Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address he lauded the efforts of the students & laid stress on discipline, devotion & dedication to the cause of education and said that teachers are the architects of the nation, who have to give shape to the personality of coming generations.
Earlier, Principal of the College Dr. Kiran Luthra welcomed the chief guest & in her address, she highlighted the activities of new syllabus & stressed that all these activities are very important for developing the professional competence of the pupil teachers. |
