RAMBAN, Dec 23: The Sahshastra Seema Bal,Battalion 42 besides ensuring the safety of people in Batote, Doda and Gandoh areas has been indulging in the welfare of the locals especially the poor students there.
Under its Community Welfare Programme(CWP), Sunil Kumar, Officiating Commandant,SSB,Bn42 has gifted 40 benches and 4 black boards to overcome the sitting problem of the students of the Government Primary School, Gami, today.
Besides the chief guest Mohd. Amin Deng, Zonal Education Officer, Batote, Headmistress of the school, Jasvindra Kour, teachers , students of School, prominent local citizens,officers and officials of SSB were present in the small but impressive function.
The donation of furniture to the school by the SSB is expected to improve the educational infrastructure in the School and the 42 Bn SSB was thanked profusely by one and all for this noble gesture. |
