Bihar based person held with 3 kgs of contraband | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 23: Police today arrested a Bihar based person presently in Bari Brahmana of Samba district and recovered 3 kgs of Contraband (Ganja) from his possession during a naka checking in Narwal. Police have registered a case in this regard. Police have identified the accused as Ashok Parshad s/o Triveni Parshad of khusrupur Kilwarian of District Patna Bihar presently at Bari Brahmana Jammu. Police spokesman said, "SI Mahmood Khan in-charge police post Narwal and SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria raised a naka at Rajive Nagar Chowk on specific input at about 1830 hrs in Narwal'. "During naka checking one person namely Ashok Parshad of Patna presently at Bari Brahamna Distt Samba carrying black colour bag was stopped," said police spokesman adding that during frisking 3 kgs of contraband (Ganja) was recovered from his possession. "He was arrested on the spot and a case under FIR No 302/2015 u/s 8/20 NDPS stands registered against accused," police said. The arrest has been made under the supervision of Rafiq Manhas SDPO City East, Shezad Salaria SP City South. |
