Jammu, Dec 23: Dr. AK Gupta, Director EEA of the Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata visited Jammu Local Centre of the Institution of Engineers (India) located at Channi Himmat.
Dr. AK Gupta was received with a warm welcome by the Engineer Ajay Gupta, Chairman and Engineer B L Rawal, Honorary Secretary and other Committee Members of the Jammu Local Centre. The Director EEA had an interaction with the Committee Members and Technician Chapter office bearers regarding the proposed visit to Jammu to ascertain the infrastructural facilities available to conduct Section a Non-diploma and Section B Examination, in addition to Section A being conducted at present at Jammu. He also gave a power-point presentation about IEI in general and Examination and Membership. During the meeting the technical activities done and all the major issues pertaining to this Local Centre were brought to the notice of the visiting dignitary. The top Brass of the Institution gave a moral boost to the members with a patient hearing and accepted presenting the genuine demands to the Head Quarter. |
