Rajouri, Dec 23: Principal Government Degree College Thannamandi Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina inaugurated ten days NSS winter camp in the college. The inauguration ceremony was attended by staff and NSS volunteers.
Speaking at the occasion Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina wished for great success of the camp and also assured the volunteers for due sport during the camp. He also appreciated the NSS Programme officer Prof. Saleem Ayaz Rather for making the NSS unit of the college very functional as a result of which one NSS volunteer Sharukh Khan of this college has been selected for participation in the Republic Day Prade to be held on 26-01-2016 in New Delhi. Prof. Saleem Ayaz Rather briefed the volunteers about the objectives of NSS and activities to be carried out during this ten days winter camp that includes cleanliness drive, extension lecturers, painting competition, song competition, Quiz competition, Essay Writing competition and rallies and others. |
