JTC organizes protest rally

Jammu, Dec 23: A protest rally was organized by Jagti Tenement Committee Jagti held under the leadership Shadi Lal Pandita, President of the Committee. The protest rally was attended by the inmates of the Jagti Migrant Camp.
During the rally slogans were raised against the present coliation Government for ignoring the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community and depriving this community of its rights. While addressing the participants Shadi Lal Pandita demanded to hold onspot Police Recruitment rally in Jagti, Fulfilling of remaining 4000 posts under PM'S employment package and announcing one thousand additional posts for those migrant youths who could not continue their studies beyond 10th class due to poverty, compensation to those youths of the community who have crossed the overage limits, permanent rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community in secured place by raising satellite township. one time compensation to each and every migrant family for damages suffered by them due to damages to their properties in Kashmir valley during past 26 years @ Rs 52 lacs per family, implementation of enhancement of cash assistance relief with effect from the date the state Govt. had made its recommendations with release of arrears,enhancement of monthly cash relief from 10,000 to 25,000 per family per month etc. He appealed the State Government to take cognizance of grievances of Kashmiri Migrant Pandits for redressal.
