NPSU burns effigy of DyCM for violating 'University Rules'

Jammu, Dec 23: NPSU activists showing strong resentment against DyCM for violating the rules of Jammu University as approved by University Council in 1987 today staged protest and also burnt effigy of the Deputy Chief Minister.
Earlier this morning the activists of NPSU gathered at University main gate and raising slogans against Dy CM, they protested and burnt the effigy of Dy CM to register their resentment.
Th Virender Singh State President NPSU who led the protesters while interacting with the media persons lambasted that this is very shock full thing a person who is DyCM of state is breaking University rules.
He said that as the University Council on 7th December 1987 have passed the resolution that " the teacher shall inform the University well in advance about the intention of participating in election process and apply for leave whatever due to them".
"Surprisingly DyCM has not applied for leave from Jammu University, as the matter of the fact Dy CM is well aware about the rules governing Jammu University, he added.
NPSU leader said that this shows the indifferent approach of DyCM who have shown no respect for law and DyCM himself has turned blind eye to power.
Among those who also addressed the protest included Rishi Badyal, Lovely Singh, Shubam Jasrotia, Bhupinder Singh, Sumit Singh, Sudesh Badyal etc.
