DB asks petitioner to file response within week 'Disappearance of child' case | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 24: In much publicized regarding Child Labour Act in which advocate Deepika Singh Rajwat filed an application for constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate into the mysterious disappearance of a child (domestic help) from a Judge's house in Bhathindi, the Division Bench (DB) of State High Court Comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat granted one weeks' time to petitioner to respond to the averments made by the applicant-Judicial Officer in the instant application. Earlier the case took new turn when Judicial Officer filed an application seeking appropriate action against the writ petitioner, the boy and the parents of the alleged missing boy for misusing the process of this Court and for harassing, blackmailing and maligning the applicant-Judicial Officer and his family and to proceed against the non-applicant/petitioner and father of the boy for filing false affidavit in this Court. Accordingly a Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat granted one weeks' time to petitioner to respond to the averments made by the applicant-Judicial Officer in the instant application.
