BCC beats AMCC, RCC defeats Stadium XI Kathua | Police Martyr Memorial T-20 Cricket tourney | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 24: The 18th and 19th match of 6th Police Martyr Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship were played at Sports Stadium Kathua. The 18th match of the Championship was played between Balaji Cricket Club (BCC) and Ajeet Memorial Cricket Club (AMCC), Gurgaon. Balaji Cricket Club won the toss and chose to bat first. While batting first, it set a target of 129 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. Mayank, who scored 37 Runs in just 24 balls, was the top scorer with 2 boundaries and 1 sixe. Ajeet Memorial Cricket Club Gurgaon could not chase the target and scored only 74 runs. Ravi of Balaji Cricket Club who took 4 wickets by conceding only 14 runs was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs 1500 and a trophy. In the 19th match, the of the tournament was played between Stadium XI Cricket Club Kathua and Rudra Cricket Club (RCC) Najafgarh. Stadium XI Cricket Club Kathua won the toss and chose to bat first and set a target of 96 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Romy who scored 18 runs in 21 balls was the top scorer with the help of 1 boundary. Dinesh and Vikrant Yadav of Rudra Cricket Club Najafgarh took 3 wickets each. Rudra Cricket Club Najafgarh chased the target successfully and won by 6 wickets. Akhil of Rudra Cricket Club Najafgarh scored 51 not out and was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs 1500 and trophy. |
