Jammu, Dec 25: Jammu and Kashmir Christian Association today organized Christmas Charitable function on the eve of Christmas here at Mother Teresa Ashram.
According to press release, Waris Gill was the chief guest while Pardeep Bali was the guest of honour. In the function Christmas cake cutting ceremony was performed by Waris Gill, gave a Christmas message and also highlighted the teachings of Jesus Christ and the purpose of his coming from heaven to the earth for releasing mankind from the bondage of sins. On the occasion, cake and snacks were distributed among the orphans, widows, destitute and handicaps. Large numbers of people from different religions were present on the occasion. President Christian Biradari Service, Choudhary Hamid Gill, Munir Masih, Mohd Saleem Warsi, Gladson Gill, Danish Gill, Rajina Gill, Dolly Gill, Moli Gill, Apeksha Gill, Friendly Gill and Nidhi Gill were also present on the occasion. |
