| Shiv Nagar inhabitants stage protest against dilapidated road | | | Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Dec 24 : The inhabitants of Shiv Nagar, Vijaypur today stated a protest demonstration against the coalition government for not initating steps to repair the dilapidated road which leads from Vijaypur Canal to Shiv Nagar.
The people told Early Times that they have approached the previous MLA as well as sitting MLA in order to redress their problem for the repair of the road but none paid heed to their requests. The people rejected the BJP propaganda of "Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas" adding that the ground reality is somewhat else as no "Vikas" is visible in Vijaypur and its surrounding areas.
They lamented the BJP for forgetting its promises which were made during the assembly election. Agitated people said that they will teach a befitting lesson to the BJP in the forthcoming election of Urban Local Bodies as well as Panchayat which would be held in the near future. |
