| National consumer day celebrated | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Dec 24 : A joint team of Legal Metrology and CA&PD Department headed by Kapil Jamwal, Assistant Controller Legal Metrology and Assistant Director, CAPD, Ramban Abdul Rashid Ganie, TSO Ramban, Abdul Khaliq along with staff celebrated the National Consumer Rights Day in Ramban today.
The audience was informed about the Consumer Rights and the precautions to be taken while purchasing the day to day goods. They were also informed about the utility of various weights and measures in accurate way used by various traders.
They were also informed that the net quantity of LPG gas in the Domestic gas cylinder is 14.2 Kg. It is mandatory to mention the retesting date on the cooking gas cylinder. The AD, CAPD, Abdul Rashid informed the public about the importance of the National Consumer day and advised that the commodity provided by the CA&PD Department should not be under weight and of good quality. |
