| ARTO Rajouri conducts checking drive | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 24 : Checking team Rajouri headed by ARTO Rajouri carried out extensive checking drive along the Jammu Poonch highway and violations under different sections of motor vehicle Act 1988 were curbed at different vulnerable locations right from Rajouri to Bhamla which included overloading of goods and passengers vehicles, contravention of route permits, dangerous driving, driving without relevant documents. The revenue realization during the entire checking drive was Rs 92,800 which was compounded on spot . About 17 vehicles were challaned and 1 seized. In future also the drive would be a routine affair in order to reduce the violation and to avoid the loss of life and property. |
