| Lord Mahavira Playway School celebrates Grand Parents Day | | | JAMMU, Dec 24: Lord Mahavira Play way School celebrated cultural-cum-Grand Parents Day and Christmas day programme today in the school premises at Shiv Nagar, Jammu.
Senior leader BJP and Incharge Jammu- Poonch constituency Yudhvir Sethi and the guest of honour was Ashish Sareen, Vice President of BJP Yuva Morcha, Surinder Sharma, Chairman of the School and Madhu Sharma, Principal participated. Vice Principal Anu Radha Saraf presented welcome address and also highlighted the efforts of the Management and staff in providing quality education to students so as to ensure all round moral, Intellectual and physical development through an integrated program of studies and extracurricular activities by adopting the latest technologies and techniques aids. Yudhvir Sethi appreciated children who presented commendable cultural items. He further said that Grandparents are a bundle of joy for a family.
They teach us the importance, patience and compassion in keeping a family together, Children who grow up under the love and care of their grandparents are very lucky because the values which they teach them make them beautiful human beings. Sethi said that earlier days we had combined families now we have nuclear families but grandparents play an important role for upbringing in a society and children learn a lot by them, storytelling used to be an activity of grandparents. |
