Nanak Nagar Traders' delegation calls on VC-JDA | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 24: A deputation of Shopkeepers Association Nanak Nagar, led by Ch Manmohan Singh former Mayor, met with Vice Chairman Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Mubarak Singh and apprised him about the problems and issues being faced by business community. According spokesperson of association, the deputation led by former Mayor discussed problems being faced by people in the Nanak Nagar locality with Vice Chairman Jammu Development Authority. "This area which also is an active market is in dire need of public convenience complex as the absence of this direly needed facility is resulting into inconvenience to general public and the shopkeepers, deputationists submitted to Vice Chairman-JDA. Interacting with VC-JDA Mr Singh, the former Mayor Choudhary pointed out that JDA Park opposite Zorawar Singh Chowk is a very viable location for Sulabh Shochalya. After giving a patient hearing to trader's deputation, the VC-JDA endorsed their request considering it an actual and immediate necessity and assured the deputation that within few days, he (VC-JDA) will visit the site and start the process of making Sulabh Shochalya. Besides former Mayor Ch Manmohan Singh, among other who comprise the deputation were Ashok Singh Sambyal President, Lekh Raj Gupta Vice President, Prem Mahajan Vice President, Girdhari Lal Gupta Cashier, Satish Sachhar and Sevinder Singh. |
