Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 25: a delegation of Jagti Migrants Welfare Committee (JMWC) today submitted a memorandum of their demands to Anupam Kher and Ashok Pandit, who were on a visit to Jagti township. They appealed the leaders to raise their issues for redressal of same. Their demands include judicial probe for displacement of KPs, internally displaced status to KPs, soft and interest free loan overaged youth, absorption of KP youth in corporate sector, creation of civil service coaching center, implementation of self and job oriented schemes for KPs, passing of temple shrine bill, Return and rehabilitation, deprivation of fracnchise, ITI and Degree college at Jagti, easing and simplifying the procedure of medical corps fund, framing of KP Development Council, releasing of pending ex-gratia and compensation of left over property, encouragement of KP talented youth in bollywood and proper implementation of PM's package. Pintoo Ji Pandit, Virji Belove, ON Kaw, Roshan Lal Bhat, Dileep Pandita were among the delegation members. |
