Kishtwar youths hailed for not resorting to anti-national sloganeering during Milad procession

Kishtwar, DEc 25: The anti-national and anti-peace elements were snubbed today against by the youths of Kishtwar by not resorting to anti-national sloganeering during the Milad process taken out in Kishtwar after a gap of nearly 22 years.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the Milad procession led by chief cleric of Jamia Masjid Kishtwar Farooq Ahmed Kichloo started from Jamia Masjid Kishtwar at around 11 AM in which more than 5000 people hailing from different sections of the society participated.
The procession was welcomed by the people at different places by erecting welcome banners with Islamic slogans written over it. The patenting youths including elders dived into several groups use religious slogans to pay tribute to Prophet Mohammad (SAW) on his birth anniversary, beside also avoid provocative and anti national slogans amid charge atmosphere due to recent anti peace development in the District when people from both the communities snubbed the hate mongering by showing unity towards peace and communal harmony after the incident of temple fire at Mughal Maidan and rumor of sacrilegious act.
The Milad procession which started from the Jamia Masjid Kishtwar after covering the distance of 3KM passes through Police Station, DC Office, Dak Banglow chowk, Bunastan, Hidayal Chowk finally cumulate at shrine of Sufi Saint Hazrat Shah Mohammad Fareed-ud-Din Baghdadi (RTA) where Immam Farooq Ahmed Kichloo address the mammoth public gathering in which he hails the people and youths for showing their unity and contribution for successful conduct of today's program.
He also offered special prayed for all those who had dedicated their lives for the sake and welfare of Muslim community throughout the world, beside for those who died this year.
Earlier elaborated security arrangements were put into place at various sensitive points of the District to thwart any untoward incident. Strong contingent of police escorted the Milad procession till it concluded peacefully.
It is pertinent to mention that today's Milad procession is the 2nd occasion of last Eid-ul-Azha festival when no anti India, Pro Pakistan or Pro Azadi slogans were raised in Kishtwar District in last 25 years of militancy.
Meanwhile Eid Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated in various parts of the District with zeal and zest. On this occasion special prayers and lecturers were delivered by the religious scholars at various religious places including mosques of the District. Special security arrangements were put into place outside each mosque where such programs were going on when last report came in.
