Poonch people hail Indian army “Sadbhawna" | | | MS Nazki Early Times Report Poonch, Dec 25: Sadbhawna operation of Indian army in various far flung and frontier border areas earn widely appreciation from the people as Indian army has been lending its helping hand to them in all spheres of life, district Poonch is one among the areas being covered by army under operation Sadbhawna. Be it to provide computers to schools or to send students on educational tour army has been always at the service of people. Like other areas, Poonch district too has been remained cause of concern for various units of army stationed in the district. Prominent among them are 120 KG Brigade, BG Brigade, 93 infantry Poonch Brigade and 6 RR sector Surankote which have been facilitating to people of far flung areas of the district on health education, defence, farming cultural activities, sports activities and veterinary grounds all along. Sarpanch Balakote Shadan Khan said, "the Indian army provides us every kind of help. It provides us ambulances at difficult times and even arrange special classes to our students who are aspirants of civl services exams. We cannot forget their important role in our day to day life” Khan further added. When I met president of India and saw Parliament House during educational tour organized by army was a dream come true for me, said a student of remote Balakote area Shubam. The People of entire Poonch district have hailed the efforts of Northern Command Udhampur commander Lt. General D S Hooda and chief of the army staff for helping the people of far flung areas particularly those living near LoC in the district to develop their skills and nourish their future. |
