Distt Admn hands over relief to 'Mughal Maidan fire victims' | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, Dec 25: In order to reach out the Mughal Maidan fire victims whose houses gutted in mysterious fire incident on December 15, Deputy Commissioner today handed over relief material among the fire victim families of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. Official spokesperson said, "Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development visited the spot and handed over 35 GI tin sheets to each family. They also informed them that the Indira Awaas Yojna (IAY) cases in favour of them had also been sanctioned and the sanctioned amount will soon be handed over to them." Earlier District administration also provided kitchen sets, blankets and other house hold item to both the fire victims beside also provided Rs 5000/- in cash to each family out of Red Cross fund. DC Kishtwar further assured all possible help to the fire victims in terms of sanctioned of timber for re-construction of their houses and also issued directions to CAPD officials for providing ration to the victims family without any delay and also directed for expediting the process for early release of an amount sanctioned for them under IAY. |
