Early Times Report Kathua, Dec 25: Referring to the inauguration of 'Atal Setu' at Basohli by Defence Minister Manohar Parikar, the District Congress Committee President Ex-MLC Subash Gupta said that NDA government is taking the credit of development works initiated by the UPA government. While addressing a press conference at Kathua, Ex-MLC Subash Gupta said that present NDA government is taking the advantage of development works initiated by the UPA government. Giving facts, Congress leader Mr Gupta said that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on May 23, 2011 laid the foundation stone of Jammu and Kashmir's first cable-stayed bridge in Kathua district to connect the State with neighbouring Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. "It is due to dedicated efforts of the Congress that after West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir is the third State in the country and the first in northern India to get a cable-stayed bridge", he added. Commenting on 'National Herald' case, he said that BJP has surrendered all its' ideological stand and other promises to share power and alleged that NDA government is deliberately framing conspiracies against Congress leadership. "Now, after coming in power the BJP is seen indulged in dirty politics and is trying to defame Congress party", he added. Naresh Kumar Sharma, Sardar Mohinder Singh, Nariender Khajuria, S P Chandel, Nirdosh Sharma and others were present during the press conference.
