Kathua, Dec 25 : Today, the 20th and 21st match of 6th Police Martyr Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship were played at Sports Stadium Kathua.
The 20th match of the Championship was played between Shabnam Cricket Club Hoshiarpur and Rudar Cricket Club Delhi and choose to bat first and set a target of 145 runs in 19.4 overs by losing all wickets. Love Kumar scored 56 Runs in just 43 balls was the top scorer with the help of 07 boundries and 02 sixes. Akshay Tayagi of Rudar Cricket Club Delhi took 03 wickets by conceding 33 runs in 04 overs. Rudar Cricket Club Delhi failed to chase the target and scored only 126 runs in 20 overs .Rahul of Shabnam Cricket club Hoshiar Pur took 03 wickets by conceding 25 runs in 04 overs. Love Kumar scored 56 Runs in just 43 balls and was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs. 1500/- and trophy.
In the 21st match Stadium XI Kathua won the toss and choose to bat first and set a target of 99 runs in 18.3 Overs by losing all wickets. Arvind scored 31 runs in 38 and Ishtaq also contributed 26 runs in just 23 balls with the help of 03 boundries and 01 six were the top scorers. Vijam Panchal took 03 wickets by conceding 26 runs in 04 overs.
While replying, Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua chased the target easily in 13.2 overs by losing 4 wickets only.
Sultan Ansari scored 38 runs in just 19 balls was the top scorer and was declared as the man of the match. |
