| Police-Public meet held at Talab Tillo | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 25 : A Police-Public meet was organized at Talab Tillo with an aim to strengthen the bond between police and general public.
Prominent social activists Parneesh Mahajan and Keshav Chopra felicitated the said meeting.
The police department was represented by SP Jammu City Shiv Kumar Singh Chohan, SDPO West Vivek Shekhar, SHO Nowabad Ravinder Rakwal, DTI Talab Tillo Bhupinder Singh and Talab Tillo Police Post Incharge Rahul Mahajan, the public representatives from different associations and those belonging to the community of senior citizens led the general masses.
SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chohan assured the people that the police will take every require and effective step to ensure that drug mafia do not succeeded in its designs to divert the youth towards drugs.
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Parneesh Mahajan, expressed concerns over the youth of the area getting addicted to drugs and sought role of the police in nabbing the drug peddlers.
Keshav Chopra, on this occasion said that such meets should be organized at regular intervals of time so that the misconception and confusions in the minds of the common citizen related to the police men are cleared and erased and we live in a friendly atmosphere. |
