JK Grameen Bank organizes awareness program 1/21/2016 10:11:10 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 21: J&K Grameen Bank under the Chairmanship of R.K Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized awareness programme on the Pradhan Mantri's Social Security Schemes at village Tilgam, distt Bandipora. Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest V.K. Sharma Sr. Manager MF&FI Deptt. J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of social security schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana. He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors. He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch. He also made people aware of new Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme) in which the premium rates to be paid by the farmers have been brought down substantially so as to enable more farmers to avail insurance cover against crop loss on account of natural calamities. Sr. Manager Advances Maqsood Mir RO Kashmir spoke at length about various bank schemes.Area Manager Bandipora M.D Sheikh spoke at length about various bank schemes. J&K Grameen bank FLC Baramulla Ghulam Qadir also spoke about various bank schemes and training being imparted by them. Representatives of various Line Departments attended the programme.
