AAI Womens’ welfare Asso launches training for under privileged women | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 21: Airports Authority of India Women Welfare Association (AAIWWA) "Kalyanmayee" has planned to undertake 6 months training programme for "Beautician" and "Stitching" course under Corporate Social Responsibility at Jammu Airport for under privileged women. This training programme shall be focusing on training a group of 15-20 ladies for beautician and stitching course each to make them self dependent and also for further imparting the same training to other members of the under privileged society. The entire expenditure of the training program and the infrastructure required shall be borne by the Airports Authority of India, through its Women Welfare Association "Kalyanmayee". An impressive inaugural function was held here today at Airport. Priti Gautam wife of Airport Director D K Gautam who is also president of Kalyanmayee Jammu Unit, while speaking on the occasion gave a brief outline of the projects being taken by AAIWWA "Kalyanmayee". Vijaya Rajendra wife of Director General of Police, K Rajendra who was the chief guest for the inaugural function welcomed the initiative taken by AAIWWA "Kalyanmayee" and emphasized the need for women to be financially self dependent. |
