Assist Labour Com, CITU jointly organize awareness camp 1/21/2016 10:55:14 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Jan 21: Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kathua in coordination with state working committee, Central Indian Trade Union (CITU) held an awareness camp at Panchayat Ghar, Chak Nathal, Sanji Morh, Chadwal. The camp was organized with an objective to generate awareness among building/construction workers regarding their registration as beneficiaries with the J&K Building and other Construction Workers' Board, Jammu and to educate them in respect of various legal formalities they are required to fulfill to become eligible for registration. Speaking on occasion, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kathua, Ashok Kumar Choudhary, apprised gathering present in this camp about various schemes framed by the Board for the welfare of registered construction/building workers and how to avail the benefits.
