Early Times Report Udhampur, Jan 21: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarter, Reasi has launched a month long computer course for students in conjunction with the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) at Pir Panjal Academy, Bagga. In its efforts towards creating a awareness in the field of computer education. The aim of the course held under the theme of `Be the Change' is to uplift the standards of computer education of students of remote areas of Pir Panjal ranges and making them capable to compete with their brethren in other parts of the country. 80 students including 31 girl students will undergo the learning of MS office, Internet and fundamental knowledge of computers. Speaking on the occasion, Army officials said that the endeavour is part of an agenda to give rise to knowledge based society which will bring development to the region. |
