Udhampur, Jan 21 : Tehsil Information Centre Ramnagar, organized a debate on Environmental Pollution in the premises of Govt. High School Jandrari in Tehsil Ramnagar here today. Head Master, Jeevan Kumar Dhiman was the chief guest on the occasion. As many as 10 students participated in the debate and expressed their views on the topic. Anita Devi was adjudged best speaker in the Debate while Second and third positions were clinched by Mintu Sharma and Anita Devi respectively.
Two consolation prizes were also given to Mohinder Kumar and Rajni Devi.
The participants were awarded prizes and certificates of merit by the Information department.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of Information Department for organizing debate and said that such programmes should be organized in near future also so that people in general and students in particular are made aware in such program. Ashok Kumar, Vishwamurti and Govind Ram were judges in the programme while Krishan Dutt conducted the proceedings of the programme. |
