'Residents of Belicharana Doda Basti without electricity 10 days' 1/23/2016 10:43:49 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 23: Gujjar and Bakkerwal State President alleged that residents of Belicharana Doda Basti without electricity from last ten days as transformer damaged. According to press release, President Choudhary Nazakat Khatana said that the people of the area had complained about the immediate need of a new transformer which is damaged from last ten days but nothing has been done in this regard. "This is the peak season for our children and their exams are going on and hence there is an acute need of uninterrupted power, immediate installation of the said Transformer, " he added. He further added that this winter is chilly, cold and people are suffering due to shortage of electric supply. The whole locality is in darkness despite of the fact that this locality is only 1km away from main Jammu city. Till today there is no repair / replacement of the said transformer. It may also be mentioned here that today the XEn PDD Gandhi Nagar visited the site and he assured us that the PDD will restore the said transformer tomorrow on 24 Jan 2016. “The restoration of transformer is our utmost demand and if our demand is not fulfilled we will be on streets and block the roads in order to resolve the issue”, said a resident.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
