Bharat Petroleum celebrates its 40th foundation day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 23: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), a fortune 500 company and known for its customer friendly initiatives has completed its 40 years existence on 24th January 2016. On this occasion, team Jammu of the corporation organized an impressive-cultural evening at Abhinav theatre Jammu, where the rich heritage and true colours of Dogra art was displayed in a two hours show in front of the audience comprising of head of administration, police and prominent citizens of civil society in addition to its stakeholders. YK Gupta head of operations, Northern Region felicitated the guests and read out the message of the CMD of BPCL. Earlier the evening began with the welcome address of Rajesh Sharma Territory Manager (Retail), who thanked all the present and expressed his gratitude for making the journey of BPCL a success during all these years. The artists from the Doordarshan and radio station presented the rich Dogra art with a mix of Sufiana and old songs. Highlight of the programme was a short film on the journey of togetherness for a decade of BPCL with J&K Police, who are operating the Petrol Pumps in the state, the profit of which goes for the welfare of martyrs of the J&K Police. Complementing the company's efforts Chief Secretary B R Sharma and ADGP Dr S P Vaid said that such unique initiatives of the company help in creating an atmosphere of positive business environment with good governance. |
