Chanderkote residents call on DC 1/23/2016 11:58:59 PM Early Times Report Ramban, Jan 23: A deputation of land owners of widening of NHA-I of panchyat Kunfur and Chanderkote led by Sadarat Ali and Joginder Bhandari today called upon the Deputy Commissioner Ramban and submitted a detail complaint in respect of embezzlement of crores of rupees surfaced in the widening of NHA-I. According to press release, the leaders in their written complaint to the deputy commissioner Ramban said that the collector land acquisition Ramban has made fraud payment of non existing trees of widening of NHA-I in favour of Shafi Wani son of Gulab Din resident of Chanderkote to the tune of Rs.1305633 vide Cheque No: 56/8443 dated 22.5.2013 under Khasra No: 206,191,186. The collector land acquisition Ramban has also made fraud payment in respect of non existing tree to Massadar Ali son of Gulzar Ali resident of Kunfur amounting to Rs.1512317 vide Cheque No: 48/44 dated 18.4.2015 under Khasra No: 421 and 423 of Widening of NHA-I. Similarly one Dhayan Chand son of Kar Chand resident of Chanderkote has been paid an amount of Rs 135857 vide Cheque No: 39/844 dated 17.3.2012 under Kh.No: 117,118,144. The Revenue department through its collector land acquisition Ramban has also made fraud payments of non existing trees of widening of NHA-I to the tune of Rs.828000 under Kh No: 75,145 in respect of Kartar Singh son of Prem Singh resident of Chanderkote . One Alla Rakha son of Gh. Mohd resident of Chanderkote has too been made fraud payment of non existing trees of Widening of NHA-I amounting to Rs.824028 vide ChequeNo: 63/8443 dated 29.7.2011 under Kh.No: 157,158.
