BJP's Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign launched 1/23/2016 11:59:32 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 23: Launching drive 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' in Marh, Former Minister for Public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Flood Control and BJP senior leader and MLA, Marh Choudhary Sukhnandan criticized gender bias and disparity towards upbringing of the girl child and termed it as main reason for falling Chid Sex Ratio (CSR). He said PM Narendra Modi has already given a call to nation to rise against it and frame a public opinion for the same.It's ironic today the society has to talk of saving the girl child- the future mother - who is to give birth and she is to be saved from her very parents." Referring to misinterpretation of religious beliefs amongst generally all religions, he said certain practices had come to be adopted which resulted in harmful gender divide.
