Jammu, Feb 27 : The postgraduate Department of Surgery under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India (JAKASI) conducted a Continuing Medical Education Programme in Government Medical College Jammu Auditorium, Jammu today. The event was Organised by renowned senior laparoscopic and general surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Bhasin successfully, wherein about 250 delegates from Chandigarh, Delhi, SKIMS Kashmir, GMC Srinagar, ASCOMS Jammu and Rural Surgeons participated in day long deliberations on the very important theme; HEPATIBILIARY DISEASES-AN UPDATE. Dr. Shiva K Mishra (President ASI) along with Prof. Dr. Zahid Geelani, Principal and Dean GMC Jammu, Prof Dr. Sunil Gupta (HOD & Chairman Organising Committee), Prof Tariq Azad inaugurated the Mid Term One Day CME. Prof. Rajinder Sing, Prof Rajesh Gupta both from PGIMER, Chandigarh; Dr. Sanjay Goja a renowned hepatobiliary surgeon from Delhi, Prof. Munner Khan, Prof. Aijaz Malik, Dr. Sallem Mir, Dr. Sadaf Ali from Kashmir and Prof Dr. N.C.Digra deliberated on different topic related to Hepatobiliary Diseases, that extends benefits not only to Delegates present in the conference but ultimately to patients also. |
