| NPP criticizes Govt's attitude towards jewelers | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 19: Neeraj Gupta Zonal President JKNPP criticized the Govt for its negative attitude to words the Jewelers.
Addressing a press conference here today, he said that the shops of Jewelers are closed since from the last fortnight and till date Govt. has not revoke its decision of imposing one percent excise duty on gold ornaments.
He said that BJP is propagating that 2016 budget is a people friendly budget, but we are not able to understand that how this budget will help the poor people if the state will bear loss by indefinite strikes of business community.
Common man is facing lots of problems but no one is there to help them out.
He said that the budget 2016 is totally failure as there is no special rehabilitation scheme for militancy affected area of J&K no provision for extension of the Railway plate-form of Jammu, no package for tourism Industry of J&K.
Even this budget has provided any scheme for Unemployed youths of J&K.
Due to agitation throughout the country by the jewelers the whole market is closed and youths employed in these shops on the daily wages are today without work. |
