Jammu, Mar 19: GDC Bishnah organized a signature campaign to celebrate "Earth Hour", an event organized worldwide by WWF since 2007, under supervision of Preeti Dogra, Assistant Prof. Department of EVS. Dr. Kuldip Raj Sharma, Principal of the college along with staff and students took active part in the event and expressed their thoughts regarding making this planet a better place to live. Earlier, a short documentary on 'Earth Hour' was also screened to generate awareness amongst the students regarding the importance of saving energy and thus our planet. Dr. Kuldip Raj Sharma, Principal of the college stressed upon the students to switch off the non-essential lights to protect the planet earth from global warming. |
