Jammu, Mar 19: Dogra College of Education, organized "Each One Teach One" drive spearheaded by the Management, Faculty members and also the teacher trainees of the college with a missionary zeal within the college campus. The drive was carried out under the supervision of Principal and teacher educators of the College. Shefali Sharma, Principal Dogra College of Education welcomed the dignitaries and community members. She further appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty members and encouraged them to involve themselves wholeheartedly in such type of drives from time to time. In her address, she spoke on drive which involved the educated class to understand their moral and social responsibility of teaching at least one illiterate person which marks a big difference in the society and was an attempt to educate the uneducated people. Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister for Higher Education, President Dogra Sadar Sabha and Chairman Dogra Educational Trust, the Chief Guest on the occasion, emphasized the importance of such teaching drives which plays a vital role in rural as well as urban areas. |
