Jammu, Mar 19: The Women Development Cell of Govt. Degree College Udhampur has organized a Poster Making Competition under the Title "Beti Padao Beti Bachao". A large number of students participated in the Competition whose main purpose is to aware the students about the importance of education of girls for the betterment of society. Students expressed their ideas marvelously and prepared highly thematic posters which were adjudged by Dr. Udhey Bhanu, HoD Mathematics, Prof. Hans Raj Sharma, Assistant Professor in Physics and Dr. Gurpreet Kour, Assistant Professor in Zoology. Students named Reena Kumari B.Sc Sem-IV, Neha Sharma, B.Sc Sem-IV & Manvi Kohli, B.Sc Sem-IV were adjudged First, Second and Third respectively in the competition. Principal of the College Prof. S.S Bhalwal complemented Women Development Cell for organizing such a motivational activity. |
