AVTAR team recovers stolen scooty

Jammu, Mar 19: Police today claimed that the Anti Vehicle Theft and Recovery (AVTAR) team to have recovered stolen Scooty here today. Police have registered a case in this regard.
Police spokesperson said, "On 18/03/2016 one Tushar Mahajan s/o Parshotam Lal of Kanak Mandi, Jammu - student of Jammu University lodged a complaint at P/S Bagh-e-Bahu that some unknown has stolen his Scooty (JK02AM- 4564) from Jammu University Gate." Accordingly a case stands registered under FIR No: 33/2016 u/s 379 RPC at P/S Bagh-e- Bahu, he added.
"During the investigations, the AVTAR team conducted a surprise naka in Gujjar Nagar area and recovered the above stolen Scooty from one Samarth Puri S/O Varinder Puri R/O Panjtirthi, Jammu, police added.
