Abducted minor girl recovered, accused held 3/20/2016 12:02:56 AM Early Times Report Rajouri, Mar 19: Police have claimed to have traced the minor girl who had gone missing after school hours from Thanamandi town on March 15, from the possession of a person from a locality of Rajouri town here today. Police quoting the complainant the father of the victim Ghulam Hussain of village Panjgrai said that the complainant lodged a complaint with Police Station Thanamandi about missing of his 16 years old daughter (name withheld) after school hours. "He also informed the police that she was allegedly abducted by Wajid Hussain son of Jhangir Khan of Majhoor -Thanamandi, police said adding, accordingly a case under FIR No.31/16 u/s 363-109 RPC was registered against the accused. During investigations several raids were conducted and some suspects were also apprehended by the police but the girl was not traced. "On specific inputs from reliable sources, SHO Thanamandi raided a house in Darhali Morh -Rajouri and recovered the abducted girl," said a senior police officer. He added the accused was also apprehended by the police and both were brought to Thanamandi police station for further investigation.
