| Let BJP-PDP form Govt in state: Dr Abdullah | | | Early Times Report
jammu, Mar 22: Former Union Minister and Patron of the National Conference Dr Farooq Abdullah Tuesday expressed hope that both BJP and PDP would be able to form the govt ending the two month long political uncertainty in the state.
Interacting with media persons on the sidelines of a function here at MAM stadium Dr Abdullah said the positive outcome of the high profile meeting between the Prime Minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti should lead to govt formation in the state.
Dr Abdullah, “said we have been waiting for more than two months for them to form the govt and now I hope they would be able to form the govt soon.”
When asked whether some sort of 'shadow boxing' was going on between the alliance estranged alliance partners Dr Abdullah said the question should be asked to them.
"What sort of boxing have they been doing i really don't know,” he said.
Commenting on another question whether Mehbooba Mufti rushed to Delhi to save her own party from split, Dr Abdullah evading any direct reply briefly said I don't know anything about the split.
When asked to comment whether the alliance partners would be able to deliver good governance, Dr Abdullah said, "Ask me the same question one year after the formation of alliance govt in the state."
Meanwhile condemning terrorist attack in Brussels Dr Abdullah said the world must come together to form a united front to fight terrorists. "All terrorists groups have to be fought wherever they are. we should stop discriminating between the terrorists, he added.
