kathua, Mar 22: Excise sleuths today conducted raids and recovered Lahan and illicit liquor from several villages. According to sources the team recovered 1,100 hundred kilo grams of Lahan and 75 bottles of illicit liquor.
The raids were conducted under the supervision of Excise Commissioner, J&K T Angchuk and Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Mohammed Shahid Saleem.
A team headed by Excise and Taxation Officer, Kathua Sandeep Gupta raided the Mirpur, Jakhbardambra, Upper Saktachak, Lower Saktachak, Dhabwal, Muthi, Jaggu, Khund and other adjoining areas in Kathua district to arrest the menace of illicit distillation. |
