Early Times Report

Ramnagar, Mar 22: Expressing grave concern over the deprivation and neglect of Ramnagar constituency in developmental sphere over the last 15 months, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister today assured the people to launch a full throttle campaign to project their woes and grievances before the concerned authorities.
Decrying the collapse of the developmental machinery in the constituency especially in the remote and far flung areas, Harsh Dev said that all out efforts would be made to revive the defunct schemes and non functional projects so as to mitigate the sufferings of the inhabitants of the affected villages.
While addressing a massive public gathering at Dalsar village of tehsil Ramnagar, Harsh Dev regretted that various developmental projects launched by him had come to a grinding halt with even the existing schemes of power, water supply and road sector in shabby plight. He strongly condemned the abandonment of construction work over University Satellite Campus in Dalsar and that of Dalsar lake which were got sanctioned by him at a cost of Rs 15 Crore and Rs 4 Crore respectively.
He also flayed the cancellation of Model Higher Secondary School Project sanctioned under RMSA at Nagrota Panjgrain for Rs 5 Crore and that of Girls Residential School at Dalsar at a cost of Rs 3 crore. He said that relinquishment of such projects had exacerbated the distrust of the people in BJP which had promised them moon during elections but betrayed them after coming to power.
Ridiculing the farcical claims of the BJP to bring back the Black Money stashed abroad within 100 days of forming govt and to deposit Rs 15 lakhs each into the account of every citizen, Harsh Dev Singh said that the Saffron Party stood totally exposed for its perfidious and deceptive character. He vowed to fight for concerns of daily wagers, SPOs, RETs and other categories of employees denied regularization. He said that time was not far and that BJP would meet its waterloo at the hustings for its multiple failures and gross betrayals. On the occasion cleaniness drive was also launched by Harsh Dev Singh in Dalsar area around the lake which was joined by more than 600 local youth.
