| KC Sports Club inaugurates spring camp for juniors | | | | JAMMU, Mar 22 : KC Sports Club has been providing young children of Jammu the opportunity to spend their holidays and vacations in a constructive manner through a series of camps. After the summer and winter camps organized at the Club during 2015, a spring camp for the younger children took off to a good start today morning in the multi-purpose halls of the Club with about 35 children in attendance. The camp will engage the children in a variety of fun activities for about 2 weeks until the schools reopen for the new academic year in the first week of April 2016. Some parents present on the opening day of the camp were appreciative of the fact that the time between the final exams of an academic year and the beginning of the new session tends to instill boredom in children and a camp at this time with a lot of activities to take part in proves immensely beneficial for them. The main activities for the younger children during the spring camp will be Creative Dancing, Art & Craft and Personality Grooming through Spoken English. In the next few days when the weather gets warmer, the children will end their day's activities with a cool and refreshing swim in the indoor swimming pool of the Club. |
