RAMBAN, Mar 22 : District Information Centre Ramban organised a camp to make the student community aware about their moral duties and various social evils at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Ramban, here today.
Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) Ramban Firdous Ahmed was the chief guest and principal of the host school Pardeep Singh Thakur was presided over the function.
During the camp many guest speakers from different backgrounds delivered lectures on the topics like water conservation and sanitation, child marriage, mental hygiene, benefits to sports, obeying traffic rules, balance diet, moral education.
In the meantime, quiz competition was also held in which 10 students participated out which three top position were secured by Palvi Rai, Sohana Farooki and Udhayveer Singh. All well performed students were awarded with prizes and participation certificates.
While speaking on the occasion chief guest and principal focussed on the topic besides appreciating the efforts of Information department in taking such initiatives for the encouragement of the students and local peoples. |
