Various organizations pay tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23 : Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) observed Shaheed Diwas and paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary, here today. The programme was organized under the leadership of BJP worker Amit Bharti while Suraj Singh Parihar, Manik Bhasin and Rupesh Gupta also presided over the function. They paid tributes to the freedom fighter, who laid down their lives for the independence of the nation. While addressing the gathering Amit Bharti said that everyone should come forward beyond caste, colour and creed for strengthening the unity and integrity of state. Shaheed Bhagat Singh Federation J&K organized a function to pay homage to the great Indian freedom fighter S.Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. The function was organized under the leadership of S. Manjeet Singh Jatt, President Shaheed Bhagat Singh Federation, J&K with the poor and labourer people at slum Basti Narwal Jammu. During the function a lot of people including children, women and other of the slum basti of Narwal and adjoining areas participated and paid homage to the martyrs. Today Congress Workers of Vijaypur Constituency organize a function under the leadership of Babal Gupta - Ex-councilor for performing the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev. Babal Gupta paid tributes to Martyrs. He said that we are living freely in India due to the scarifice of lives of Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev. Makhan Gupta, Dharam Pal, Vijay Kumar, Prem Pal, Ajay Kumar, Anku Sharma, Mulkh Raj, Raj Kumar Bhagat were also present in the occasion Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) celebrated the martyrdom anniversary of the Shaheed -e - Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev with full enthusiasm. According to press release, addressing the gathering Thakur Randhir Singh said that this is the time to widely propagate the revolutionary ideas and 60% youth of the country should follow the revolutionary views of Sardar Bhagat Singh and other martyrs. The successive governments in the state and center have encouraged corrupt politicians , bureaucratic and contractors who have polluted the political atmosphere in the country and good social workers are avoiding to join politics. On the eve of the martyrs' day Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev were commemorated in a function organized under the supervision of Avinash Choudhary( Social Activist) , Press & Publicity Secretary, Shaheed Capatin Bahadur Singh(VRC), Samarak Samiti. A large number of Youth and also the shopkeepers of Vijaypur participated in the function. Avinash Choudhary told that the martyrs are the ideals for the Nation and its residents. To commemorate the 85th Martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Aazm Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, the Martyrs Day Celebration Committee organized commemoratory function at Paloura Jammu in the hall of Manhas Mahasabha. Many prominent persons of the state paid tributes to the great martyers. The function was presided over by senior advocate B.S.Manhas whereas proceedings were conducted by Hari Chand Jalmeria Advocate convener of the Committee. Speaking on the occasion Jalmeria told that Bhagat Singh was great thinker and believed in establishing socialism in India after achieving freedom from Britishers. Other members of Hindostan Socialist Republican Association including Chandershekhar Azad, Com. Danwantri, Shiv Verma, Ashfaqullah, Sukhdev and Rajguru strongly believed in socialism and had decided to give prime sacrifices for achieving freedom and socialism thereafter. Jammu Kashmir National Panther Party (JKNNP) paid tribute to the martyrs Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on its party 34th foundation anniversary. The martyrs were hanged on this day in Lahore by the British government in 1931. According to press release, the resolution of JKNPP expressed shock that the Parliament of India has not till this day conferred Mahabharata Ratan on the heroes of India's freedom movement. The Panthers Party has already conferred Mahabharata Ratan Award on these heroes of freedom movement. Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) in its tribute meeting at New Delhi, paid rich homage and tributes to all Martyr’s which include our three brave National Heroes, Shaheed Baghat Singh, Shaheed Raj Guru and Shaheed Sukhdev who gave their life for the freedom of the country today on march 23,31 when they were hanged by brutal Britishers in Lahore jail, just asking for freedom of Indian nation from Britishers. Kundan Kashmir, KPC Chief while remembering the three brave Martyrs of Motherland Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, who gave their life for the nation, stated that nation will never forget their sacrifices which would continue to provide inspirations to the Indian masses in particular youths to safe guard the national pride, its unity, integrity, constitution and flag.He said nation is first and no body is above to it and its pride & law. Those elements and confused politicians involved in mockery politic to divide and dis-integrate the nation on the bases of caste and creating hype over alleged intolerance in the country must learn from these martyrs, and those people of nation who respect these martyrs and believe on nationalism and nation --hood,should have to get united and fight these forces and elements like Kanhaya of JNU and his mentors to defeat thier designs and intentions and for promoting brother -hood , peace in the country and safe--guard nations unity and integrity |
