SAMBA, Mar 23: Alleging sheer neglect at the hands of concerned department and district administration, the residents of village Sarna today staged a protest demonstration against PWD over bad condition of road. Raising slogans against the PWD authorities, the protestors held the PWD authorities responsible for the bad condition of road. "Residents of far flung villages situated along the route like Shah Balode, Gowal Chora, Nangal, Teri, Patyari, Sarna , Chilla danga and Mohargarh are facing lot of problems due to the poor road connectivity, they lamented. Protestors also alleged that worst condition of this road can be gauged from the fact that its black topping has not been done for the last 15 years resons better known to PWD officials. "Road stretch from Samba to Sarna up to Chila Danga is in utterly bad shape having potholes and streams of boulders and offers a dusty ride to commuters," said Bishan Singh, adding, " this bad shape often becomes more worst for the emergencies the patients shifted to main district hospital." "it is only the polling time when several of leader of different parties come to these remote villages and dole false assurances to the but once they get elected they never turned to them, said Panch Manohar Lal. He added why the road has not been upgraded or repaired the authorities at the helms of affairs might be knowing reasons behind this neglect. |
