Clueless, cornered RSS-BJP further annoynation
NIT row & Kher and Pandit
4/12/2016 12:45:37 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 11: Actor and activist Anupem Kher and film maker Ashok Pandit are known as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fans and well-wishers of politically dishonest and intellectually bankrupt RSS-BJP combine. They were not expected to embarrass the Prime Minister and the perverted Parivar, but they did exactly the opposite.
Emotional and true nationalists and champions of human rights as they are, they on Sunday showed the secular" Indian political class the way by taking the first initiative to reach Srinagar by air to meet the brutalized non-local students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar and show solidarity with the agitating students, including girls, drawn from all parts of India. In the process, they also showed the BJP-RSS the place they rightfully deserved.
The very fact that they took a step that was bound to humiliate and embarrass them and make the nation ridicule the Parivar's fake nationalism, fake commitment to national unity, fake pro-Hindu credentials, fake stand on national tricolour and Bharat Mata Ki Jai slogan, fake faith in the ideology of martyr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee and fake commitment to the unity and integrity of India only indicated that also had an independent views and that the Parivar couldn't take them for a ride.
What embarrassed and humiliated the Parivar across the country was the manner in which the J&K police under the direction of its political masters, BJP-RSS included, didn't allow Kher and Pandit to move out of Srinagar Airport and the manner in which they were deported from the Airport itself. As was expected, the responsible Indian media made it a big issue for right reasons and further embarrassed the Prime Minister, the Home Minister Rajnath Singh, HRD Minister Samriti Irani, in fact, the entire Sangh Parivar.
The nature of embarrassment could be gauged from the fact that neither the cornered RSS spokespersons nor the BJP cornered spokespersons could give any satisfactory answer when asked why Kher and Pandit were not allowed to meet the agitating students under the BJP rule? In fact, RSS and BJP spokespersons like Rakesh Sinha and Sambit Patra didn't answer this straight question at all. They tried to divert the issue and in the process they only blackened the face of the Parivar beyond recognition. They advanced spurious arguments only to invite more criticism.
One thing is clear: The NIT episode or the "secular" onslaught on the nationalist non-local students of the NIT has exposed the RSS-BJP combine and made the nationalists across the nation conclude that they committed a blunder by voting for the BJP in the 2014 general election. Remember, the NIT is not a local incident as BJP leader and under severe criticism Deputy Chief Minister and others of his ilk want the nation to understand; it is an issue of national import that is bound to further discredit the already rather discredited Sangh Parivar.
