JKNPP stages protest outside DSEJ office | | | Jammu, Apr 12: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) activists today staged protest demonstration outside the Director of School Education Jammu alleging favoritism, nepotism, corruption and violation of norms in the transfers of teachers, masters, HMs, lectures besides other categories of teaching staff. According to press release, the protestors led by Rajesh Padgotra, Sham Gorkha, Pushpinder Manhas and other leaders raised slogans against the Education department and called for a probe into all the transfers orders particularly those effected in violation of the transfer policy prescribed by the govt. Rajesh Padgotra alleged total breakdown of the education set up in the state with large scale violations of stipulated norms and procedures in its functioning. He said that the centre and State schemes including RMSA and SSA had collapsed with the educational authorities busy in unwholesome transfers including premature transfers in violation of its 'Transfer Policy' that prescribed separate transfer calendar and schedules for summer and winter Zones. Alleging malpractices, violations in Transfers in Education, Sham Gorkha vice president JKNPP expressed his dismay over the govt. order no. 76 of 2016 dated 19.01.2016 which provided that the higher education acquired by RETs or regularized RETs during honorarium period shall not be considered for IN SITU promotion of the said teachers. Stating that the said order also defied all logic and rationale, he said that the higher education was acquired by the RETs in pursuance of the permission accorded to them by the govt. at the relevant point of time through govt. notifications / orders. He called for regularization of all eligible RETs and consideration of the transfers of the regularized RRETs. |
