JKSRLM organizes workshop on 'Management Information System' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 12 : Jammu and Kashmir State Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKSRLM) organized a training workshop on Management Information System (MIS) in National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Srinagar on Monday. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr G N Qasba, Mission Director JKSRLM and was also attended by prominent namely Farooq Ahmad Peer, consultant JKSRLM, District Programme Managers/Block Programme Managers and MIS Assistants and State Anchor Person (SAP) of Kashmir division. In his inaugural address special invitee Dr Qasba, MD JKSRLM interacted thoroughly with all the DPMs/BPMs and MIS Assistants and received feedback from them about the pace of implementation of the programme (Umeed). The problems being faced by the DPMs/BPMs and MIS Assistants in uploading the data on the national portal which were discussed threadbare with MD JKSRLM and he assured for early resdresal while many were resolved on the spot. MD JKSRLM also the instructed the participants that the work done at the grass root level should be updated on MIS on real time basis, "Any failure on this account shall be viewed strictly and action taken against the concerned," he warned. The focus of training is on various components of MIS maintained at the National Portal of NRLM, an official said, while adding, "Dr G N Qasba also instructed all the concerned to update the progress achieved in implementation of programme on the National portal of NRLM in a time bound manner." MD JKSRLM also stressed on resolving various bottlenecks in updating the data on MIS in a time bound manner, so that the fund flow from the Central Government does not get affected in any manner. |
