Charak urges BSNL for release of wages to employees | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 20: In a statement made by the State President All India Kissan Sabha, J&K State Dr. G.S.Charak has urged the BSNL authorities for release of pending charges in respect of the employees deployed for watch and Ward duties of the BTS sites installed at different locations in Jammu City. He has stated that the monthly charges on account of watch and ward were enhanced by the BSNL Authorities w.e.f. January, 2015 but despite lapse of more than a year, the arrears on account of the enhanced charges including the monthly rent has not been released in most of the cases. The callous attitudes on the part of the concerned authorities have rendered the poor employees without wages. The plea taken by the concerned BSNL authorities that no bank account number has been provided to them is not tenable as the said BSNL authorities have been crediting the said monthly rent and housekeeping charges of BTS in their accounts for which the account Nos. stand already provided to them last six years now. The lame excuses put forth by the concerned BSNL authorities are beyond ones comprehension. Dr Charak has once again appealed to the concerned BSNL authorities to release the pending arrears and ensure payment of monthly charges without any delay in future. |
